Most patients describe the sensation as a mild scratch rather than significant pain, and a topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand if you’re concerned about comfort.

Recovery and Downtime

One of the advantages of Profhilo is the minimal downtime involved. You may notice small bumps at the injection sites immediately afterwards, but these typically settle within a few hours to a day. Mild redness or bruising is possible, though most patients return to their normal routine the same day. We generally recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, saunas and excessive sun exposure for 24 to 48 hours after treatment.
